* What is the cost per square foot to construct a quality home in the community in which we desire to build?
Square foot prices vary depending on your taste in design, materials and interior selections. VanSon Construction will work with you and your architect prior to completing working drawings so that cost studies can be done and options priced to meet your desired budget.

* How long does the building process take?
After architectural plans are completed and approved, construction of a typical house (4000 square feet) takes approximately 8 – 12 months.

* How do you select your subcontractors?
Over the years we have found local subcontractors who provide quality workmanship, competitive prices and prompt service. We will review these with you before we begin construction.

* What will be the means of communicating with you during the building process? How frequently will we meet and how will we stay informed about progress regarding the schedule and the budget?
The client’s proximity to the project will frequently determine the means by which we communicate. We prefer bimonthly meetings on site in addition to communication by phone, email and the private client entrance on our website. You will receive monthly reports of actual project costs versus budget and updated project flow sheet schedules.

* Who will be our on-site project supervisor?
VanSon Construction has our own employees with an individual job foreman assigned to each project. In addition either myself or Paul Nies, Van Son Construction Superintendent with over 25 years experience, will check on each site daily.

* How and where do we go to make interior and exterior selections? Do you offer interior design services to coordinate these selections?
I will refer you to suppliers who have done the best job for my previous clients in terms of quality, price and selection. In addition, VanSon Construction recommends various interior design services to coordinate and assist you with these selections.
